Terms & Conditions
Thank you for booking with Baraka Destinations. We look forward to welcoming you to our guesthouses and immersive experiences in Umm Qais and Pella. The following Terms & Conditions govern your booking and experience with us. If you confirm a booking with us, you acknowledge and accept that these Terms & Conditions shall apply in full.
Definitions
- “Guest” means any person making or benefiting from a reservation at Baraka Destinations.
- “Company” refers to Experience Baraka Consulting for Sustainable Tourism Development, a limited liability company incorporated in Jordan, under registration number 200125379.
- “Third-party Provider” means an external vendor or local partner providing services booked through Baraka Destinations.
- “Force Majeure” means any unforeseeable circumstances beyond the Company’s control.
1. Booking Confirmation
- All bookings must be confirmed by Baraka via our official email address: reservations@barakadestinations.com or text message from our reservations number +962 7 7666 7660
- All bookings are considered provisional and subject to cancellation until full payment is received and confirmed in writing by Baraka Destinations. No services, accommodations, or experiences are guaranteed until payment is made in full.
- Guests are required to provide full names, email address, room preferences, arrival and departure times, and any dietary or special requirements at the time of booking.
- Guests are solely responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and truthfulness of the information they provide. Baraka Destinations shall not be held liable for any issues, delays, or disruptions arising from incorrect or incomplete information submitted during the booking process.
2. Payment Policy
Full payment is required at least 5 business days before the arrival date.
The following payment methods are only accepted:
(a) Bank transfer (Bank transfer details will be provided on your invoice);
(c) Cash (for walk-in bookings or local transactions by prior arrangement);
(d) Credit or debit card;
(e) CliQ (locally used);
(f) PayPal (subject to applicable processing fees).
All bank and payment processing fees, costs and charges, including currency conversion charges, shall be borne solely by the Guest.
- Accepted currencies are JOD and USD only
- For bookings of 15 people or more, we require a final rooming list and program 10 days prior to arrival.
- In the event of any chargeback, fraudulent transaction, or use of unauthorized payment methods, the guest shall indemnify and hold harmless Baraka Destinations against all losses, penalties, or damages arising therefrom. Baraka reserves the right to report such activity to relevant authorities and to cancel the booking without notice.
- Baraka Destinations reserves the right to cancel any booking without liability if payment is not received in accordance with these terms. In such cases, the cancellation policy in Clause 3 shall apply, and the Guest shall remain liable for any non-refundable portion of the booking.
- Public holiday bookings: charges must be settled 10 days prior to arrival for the booking to be confirmed. Free cancellation only applies 10 days prior to arrival.
3. Cancellation & No-Show Policy
- Cancellation & Refund Policy
- Cancellation 5+ days before arrival: Free of charge
- Cancellations that happen less than 5 days from the booking date or no show bookings: full payment will be incurred
- Refunds will be issued to the original payment method and will exclude any payment processing fees which will be deducted from the full amount. No refunds are issued in cases of guest misconduct (e.g., late cancellation, no-show, or failure to follow booking instructions).
4. Accommodation Notes
- Check-in time is 3:00 PM.
Check-out time is 12:00 noon.
- Early check-in or late checkout must be arranged in advance and is subject to availability.
- Children under 5 sharing with parents stay free of charge unless an extra bed is needed.
- Rates include breakfast unless otherwise specified. Breakfast is served daily from 08:00am to 10:00am.
- Quiet hours are observed between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM to ensure all guests enjoy a peaceful stay.
- Smoking is not permitted inside the guesthouses. Designated outdoor smoking areas are available.
- Pets are only allowed at Beit Al Fannan our property in Pella, but not at Beit Al Baraka in Umm Qais, with the exception of certified service animals if the entire floor is booked privately.
5. Experiences & Activities
- Guests are expected to review activity descriptions, age requirements, and group size limits before booking. Private guides must be booked in advance.
- Some activities may involve outdoor conditions, physical exertion, or environmental elements. Participants join at their own risk.
- Guests acknowledge that certain activities are operated by vetted local partners. Baraka Destinations solely facilitates the booking of these services and does not operate or supervise their execution. Accordingly, Baraka Destinations bears no responsibility or liability for any injury, loss, damage, or claim arising out of or in connection with the acts, omissions, or negligence of these third-party providers.
- We strongly recommend that all guests carry personal travel and medical insurance that covers adventure activities.
6. Liability, Indemnity & Guest Conduct
- Baraka Destinations shall not be liable for any injury, loss, damage, or costs incurred during the Guest’s stay or participation in activities, or for reservation cancellations due to force majeure or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control. Guests must report any damage upon arrival or occurrence and are liable for any damages or losses during their stay.
- Guests expressly assume the risk of harm to themselves, their party, property, or visitors arising from the use of Baraka Destinations’ guesthouses or common areas. Guests shall indemnify and hold harmless Baraka Destinations, its owners, affiliates, staff, and representatives against all claims, damages, or liabilities arising out of their stay or use of our guesthouses.
Guests shall be fully responsible for ensuring that neither they, their accompanying parties, nor their visitors engage in any prohibited conduct that may result in damage, liability, or reputational harm to Baraka Destinations. Prohibited acts include, but are not limited to, providing false or fraudulent information, using unauthorized or stolen payment methods, accessing or misusing personal data or systems, using the premises for unauthorized commercial purposes, mass bookings with unjustified cancellations, engaging in defamation, harassment, or any act that disrupts operations or staff, damaging or tampering with property or systems, and violating any applicable laws, intellectual property rights, or public order. Baraka Destinations reserves the right to seek compensation and pursue legal or administrative remedies for any loss, damage, or harm arising from such actions.
7. Privacy & Data Protection
- The Privacy and Data Protection Policy set forth below forms an integral part of these Terms and Conditions and shall be construed in conjunction with the Privacy and Data Protection Policy.
Guest information, including passport copies, are saved on company servers that are secured and protected and will be shared with government entities as per required by law.
All personal data is processed and retained in compliance with the provisions of the Jordanian Personal Data Protection Law
- We only collect personal data necessary to process bookings and enhance your stay.
- We do not sell or share your data with third parties without your consent.
- By confirming your reservation, you acknowledge and agree to receive marketing communications from Baraka Destinations, with the right to opt out at any time

All content, branding, images, and written material on Baraka Destinations’ website, marketing material are the intellectual property of Baraka Destinations and are protected by applicable copyright laws. No part of this material may be reproduced, copied, or used for commercial purposes without the prior written consent of Baraka Destinations.
9. Dispute Resolution
- These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
- Any dispute arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Jordanian Central courts (place of Justice).
