About
Be Ready to get your hands dirty! Wild Za’atar (Origanum syriacum) is a nationally threatened species in Jordan due to intense collection and destruction of habitat. At Beit Al Ward, Wijdan teaches how to make seed bombs of propagated wild Za’tar seeds. Your seed bombs can be taken on your hiking or cycling experience to be dispersed into nature or back home to plant. Beit Al Ward also has a greenhouse with numerous plants available for purchase. This activity is highly recommended for travelers and families interested in ecological conservation.
