Olive trees are known as sacred trees in the region and their fruits have been cherished throughout ancient civilizations, playing an important part in medicine, cuisines and economy. Olive picking is special to local families as it is seen as a communal activity that all family members participate in. You will go to the fields with a local guide and take part in the olive picking. The experience is complimented with a visit to the Olive Press.
